Over the past two decades, I've had the privilege of building six businesses, each one teaching me valuable lessons along the way. Business number three became a multi-million dollar venture, which was incredibly rewarding. However, life took an unexpected turn when a lawsuit led to a ten-year struggle that resulted in losing almost everything I had worked so hard for. It was during this time of deep grief that I discovered the power of serving others as a means of healing.
This transformative experience led me to realize the immense value of social impact businesses and inspired me to create a new business model that I call HeartProfit. This model prioritizes compassion, community, and the well-being of workers, moving away from the unsustainable profit-at-all-costs approach that dominates modern business practices.
